"Ultimate Tensile strength", is measured as the number of Kilogram of force needed to fracture a 'unit' of Area of the material. If you choose to use the Units of Kg for the force , and the Unit of Square Cm for the area; then the answer will be in Kilogram per Square Centimetre.
