The easy way: Pour the water into a graduated container, like a graduated cylinder, and read the volume directly. The hard way: Calculate the volume of a regularly shaped container (cylindrical or rectangular). Pour the water into the container. Measure the height of the water in the container. Calculate the volume of the unfilled portion of the container. Subtract this volume from the total volume of the container.
The volume of a gas is totally dependent on the container it is in, gas fills its container completely by its particles spreading out. The volume of the container is the same as volume of the gas inside the container. gasses are most commonly measured in SI units (Liters, mililiters, .....).
Assuming the container is full at 1500 liters, the container's volume in cubic feet will be about 53 cubic feet (52.9720005, more precisely).
The gas fills the container, therefore its volume must be 2 cu ft.
You can tell which container has a bigger volume by using arithmetic solutions to calculate its volume.
Number of Moles = concentration * volume (in litres)
643,8.1033 (pm)3
You simply measure its volume, in litres.
4 Liters
0.75 kg/L
1/3
Multiply length by width by height to get cubic centimeters or cc which is equal to milliliters and there are 1000 ml in a liter so you need to divide the cc by 1000 to get the answer to how many liters in volume there are. i.e. If your container is 68 cm x 45 cm x 35 cm, you multiply them together to get the answer in cubic centimeters. [110160] Then divide that by 1000 to bring it back to litres and the answer in liters is 110.16 liters.
