Gen:4:26: And to Seth, to him also there was born a son; and he called his name Enos: then began men to call upon the name of the LORD.

Romans 10:13 "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved"Joel 2:32 " And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be delivered"
Psalm 116:13 - I will take up the cup of salvation, And call upon the name of the Lord. [NKJV]
I think these are the lyrics: What you really want is not a God at all, Just an idol picture ignored upon your wall, Not a person who loves and really cares, Just a self-made God who leaves you hangin there. You call me Lord Lord and then you go your way, You call me Lord Lord and then you don't obey, You call me Lord Lord and then do things your way, How can I be Lord if I'm never Lord of your today. What you really want is to be let alone, Wandering aimlessly, no purpose and no home, What you don't know is that you [have a name], But I can't tell you that as long as you play games. You call me Lord Lord and then you go your way, You call me Lord Lord and then you don't obey, You call me Lord Lord and then do things your way, How can I be Lord if I'm never Lord of your today. What you really want is something you don't know, Your search is endless, no matter where you go, 'Til you're still and I can have my way, you'll be empty, for love is to obey. You call me Lord Lord and then you go your way, You call me Lord Lord and then you don't obey, You call me Lord Lord and then do things your way, How can I be Lord if I'm never Lord of your today.
Calling on the name of the Lord for a Christian means to ask for God's help through prayer, formal or informal. It is often used in relation to calling on God for salvation (Acts 2:21 and Romans 10: 12-14).
the kids call it the star palace, but its offical name is the "Stella"
Ezekiel 25:17 - "I will execute great vengeance on them with furious rebukes; and they shall know that I am the Lord, when I lay My vengeance upon them." [NKJV]
Men began to call on the name of the Lord during the days of Seth, third born of Adam and Eve in Genesis 4:26. Answer Adam would have had cause to call upon the name of the Lord after he and Eve were banished from the garden of Eden. Though he gained much knowledge regarding the things in the garden, he had little knowledge of the new world he had been sent to. Though some inspired thoughts would have come from God to help him, there would have been times when he would have needed help from the Lord. If you remember Adam built an alter at which place he offered up his prayes to God.
Kodandam. So they call him 'Kodandapani'.the bearer of kondandam in his hand

Mainly because of a superstition, it was felt that God's name was too sacred to be pronounced. But, consider this; Romans 10:13-For "everyone who calls on the name of Jehovah will be saved." NWTOr rendered in the King James-For whosever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. If we didn't know God's name was in fact Jehovah, how could we possibly call on it?
