the same as any other dog apart from their long fur which needs brushed daily. also you will probably need to clip them often to stop them from getting fleas as easily. (i also forgot to mention that this dog is not common in fact they appear fairly rare in which case you are lucky to have a dog like this).
The Japanese Spitz (Canis lupus familiaris) is a small to medium breed of dog.
A person can train their Japanese Spitz dog by sticking to a schedule. Being repetitive is also important during the training process.
yes
It is normal. Each dog has it's own personality. A Japanese Spitz might not be shy at all. It just depends on their personality.
Japanese Spitz dogs typically have a lifespan of around 12 to 16 years. Factors such as genetics, diet, exercise, and overall health can influence their longevity. Regular veterinary care and a healthy lifestyle can help maximize their lifespan.
A half Maltese and Japanese Spitz dog is often referred to as a Maltese-Spitz mix or a Maltese-Japanese Spitz hybrid. These mixed-breed dogs can inherit traits from both parent breeds, resulting in a variety of appearances and temperaments. They typically have a fluffy coat and a friendly disposition, making them great companions.
My Japanese spitz is now 12 years old, still very active, shiny coat. I guess the dog's lifestyle and happiness contributes to its number of years.
