When you get it pierced, they should give you a solution to clean it with and directions..
If they dont (which is odd) you can buy an ear cleaning solution at pharmacy (CVS, Target, Walmart) or get non-iodized salt, cotton balls, and cotton swabs (for ears)
1.Wash your hands thoroughly
2.Mix about a tablespoon of salt in with an 8 oz cup of warm water
3. Dip the cotton ball into the solution and hold in on the front and back of the piercing for approx. 5 minutes/side.
4. Make sure to twist your piercing a full rotation once when you clean it so it dosent heal in one spot.
5. Dip cotton swab in solution and clean around the edge of the piercing on both sides.
Do this 3 times a day and after you excercise, and you should be good!

∙ 14y agoyou can use the special solution they usually give you at claire's after a piercing or if you don't have that the guy that pierced mine said that even contact solution will do the trick.
