You have to be gentle. When you first get them you should do steps. It's really easy to make them hate you. 1. First day, leave them, let them explore their new home. 2) Hand feed them. 3) Attempt to hold them in the cage. (If they don't like it or are not sure, leave them but try again the next day) 4) Hold the outside the cage in a small box. Good Luck.
