There used to be an event for Giratina,Palkia, and Dialga, but now there are only 2 ways. This is how I got Giratina,
If you have Diamond, borrow someones DS and trade over Giratina.
Thats how I got Giratina, the other way is to use Action Replay, but that could mess up your file.
