You can't catch it in the wild or any special place. You need to have Pokemon Ranger with the Manaphy Egg Event. You need two DS's and make one download to the HeartGold. You'll have to go to any Pokemart and there will be a guy wearing a green or orange uniform and you must have one space in your party to get the Manaphy Egg. Talk to him and he'll give it to you.
