∙ 8y agoYou will need Oak's Letter to have access to Flower Paradise. Shaymin is level 30, which is a pretty low level for a legendary. You will need to bring Pokemon from level 25-35 to ensure not to make it faint and one of the Pokemon needs to know a move that can cause Shaymin to fall asleep. If possible, bring a high level Pokemon that knows False Swipe to bring its HP to 1 point left in one swipe. Shaymin's catch rate is a lot higher than many other legendaries as well, so you don't need to bring many Ultra Balls; a regular Poke Ball can even catch it easily.

∙ 12y agoYou can find Shaymin(Gratitude Pokémon) in a area above the Pokémon League, also known as Route 224, in games Pokémon Diamond/Pearl/Platinum. It might be impossible to get there, but some skilled people have Action Replay to clear that problem. Also, if you have Pokémon Platinum, you can get a Shaymin easily by going to the event in Toys 'R' Us, in February... but that event is already somehow FINISHED. If you have Pokémon Platinum, get a Shaymin, and go to Floroma Town. A lady, if you press A to her, will give a Glacidea Flower, which could be found in your Key Items. Use the Glacidea Flower on Shaymin to turn Shaymin into Shaymin Sky Forme.* *Note: Once Shaymin has been turned into Shaymin Sky Forme, you cannot turn it back into Shaymin Land Forme! You can keep the Glacidea Flower though. And yes, I don't have this game! I looked this up on YouTube.

∙ 12y agoYou can only get Shaymin in Pokémon SoulSilver via events, trades or cheating devices.
This is a AR code for the tosy r us event shaymin. Press L+R to activate. The shaymin will appear in box 10 slot 28, and will delete any Pokemon in that spot.

∙ 13y agoYou cannot catch Shaymin in SoulSilver. Shaymin is an event Pokemon that was available through an event for Pokemon Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum. You will have to migrate a Shaymin through Pal Park if you already have it, trade with a friend who has one, or use a Cheating Device.

∙ 13y agoYou can't catch Shaymin in the wild in SoulSilver or any version. You need to acquire it through a Nintendo event, and they haven't released a Shaymin event for SoulSilver yet.
