How do you catch ghost on sims freeplay?

You have to buy the haunted items. Then click on one and you'll have the option to ghost hunt for 6 mins. Then tap on the ghost symbol and tap on the ghost til it dies!!! :) done! The more haunted items you have the higher the chance of catching rare ghosts!
