To catch regigigas in pearl or diamond, first beat the Pokemon league. Then, go to snowpoint city. Go to the temple at the top of the city. When the lady says you can't go in, the gym leader will tell her that you can. The wild Pokemon in there are level 50 like sneasel and steelix. go all the way down. Regigigas is at the bottom. He is a stone statue. Talk to him to wake him up. But you need to have regice, regirock and registeel. Sorry i don't remember if they have to be with you or not, but you need to own them.
