How do you catch shadow Pokemon that you have already defeated in Pokemon XD gale of darkness?

All shadow Pokemon except Voltorb if defeated will eventually reach miror b's hands and whenever the miror radar goes off you can battle him for that shadow Pokemon. Also some Pokemon will not go to miror b they will stay with there specific owner for example greevill.
