To capture mespirit in Diamond you must go to Lake Verity and go to the middle of the lake then go inside and press A in front of mespirit. Mespirit will then fly awway and profosser Rowan will come in and tell you to go after it. It will then Fly across Sinnoh's lands and seas. Using you Poketch map should help. When you do happen to come across it, it will be at lv50.
