I own a 1994 Isuzu Trooper, the blower moter is located inside the truck under the glove box.
the blower motor is located on the passenger side firewall under the hood remove 3 or 4 bolts and the motor will come loose
First, take a socket wrench to remove the cover of the blower motor of a 1993 Chevy truck. Then pull the motor blower out and install a new one in its place. Lastly, screw the bolts of the blower motor cover back in.
Remove the wiring harness from the back of the blower motor. Remove the blower motor retaining screws. Remove the fan from the blower motor. Reverse the process to install the new blower motor.
The fusebox which controls the blower motor is under the hood up by the firewall.
The blower motor speed resister is burned out.
In the truck!
Your truck has both. the resistor is between the switch & blower.thje resistor controls the blower speed
by the blower motor there is a resistor connection, you will find it melted the blower motor is bad. it draws to much power causing the connection to get hot and melt and burn. you will have to change the connector and the blower motor. the blower is still working but its drawing to much power, the motor windings are shorted out inside. disconnect the connector from the resistor and you will see it.
RIGHT BESIDE THE BLOWER MOTOR UNDER PASSENGER SIDE OF DASH
The 1997 Dodge ram blower motor is located on the firewall in the engine compartment. The blower motor will be near the bottom, passenger side, firewall.
If it's a fan speed issue check the blower motor resistor & the blower motor. Check the plugs at the resistor and blower motor for burn marks also.
