The display language is the language that Windows uses in wizards, dialog boxes, menus, Help and Support topics, and other items in the user interface. Some display languages are installed by default, and others require you to install additional language files. When you change the display language, it is changed for your user account and is not changed on the Welcome screen. If you want to set the display language for multiple users or the Welcome screen, see Apply regional and language settings to reserved accounts.
1. Open Regional and Language Options by clicking the Start button , clicking Control Panel, clicking Clock, Language, and Region, and then clicking Regional and Language Options. 2. Click the Keyboards and Languages tab. 3. Under Display language, choose a language from the list, and then click OK. NoteIf you don't see the list of display languages, you need to install additional language files first.
if you're using windows 7 ultimate there should be an option in the control panel to let you change the password. If you're using any other versions i don't think you can. I think you need to buy the English version. Check the Microsoft help centre. I might be wrong
Step 1: open control panel
Step 2: click Region and Language
Step 3: change the language
If you can't find control panel because you can't read Czech? here are slightly more complicated instructions that require less Czech reading.
Step 1: right click the desktop
Step 2: click the 7th option down (it should say novy, nove, moderni, cerstvy, cisty, nove, znovu, or prave)
Step 3: click the option that has a folder on it
Step 4: open the folder
Step 5: click the bar at the top that says New Folder
Step 6: type this in: Control Panel\All Control Panel Items (it has to be in English)
Step 7: click the option that has a globe and a clock next to it
Step 8: a small window should have appeared, click the bar that says Czech
Step 9: a list of languages should show, look for English the click it (you might have to scroll to find it)
Step 10: click apply then click okay.
It depends on your computer. I have a Mac and to change languages you click "System Preferences" in the toolbar or search for it in Spotlight. Under the 'Personal' tab there is a link for Language & Texts. There you should be able to find you desired language :)
Ask the question again if this doesn't answer what your asking and then someone can teach you how to format it for your specific computer. :)
you need windows 7 ultimate to change the language.
go to control panel and its language and regional settings you're looking for
The best way to do this is to reinstall the Windows 7 program using the installation disc and when prompted, choose the English language option.
This is not possible. Each version of Windows 98 is created for a specific language. Every program that came with the system has its language hardcoded and cannot be changed.

Help how do I change from French to English on my Forte?
You'll have to run two separate windows OS. Instead, you could change the language of your keyboard each time you want to type in a different language and use Windows in one language.I use an English Windows, all my programs are in English, but I input text in French and in English. This is partly because my country has those two languages as official language and has a keyboard standard.
you can change it in the column of setting of phone.
Providing you are using the Windows 7 Ultimate version, the language is easy to change by installing the English Language pack from the 'Regional and Language' section of the control panel. The language can only be changed this way using Windows 7 Ultimate.
If you want to change the default interface (the User Interface) language, that would be impossible without re-installing your Windows operating system. This is because you cannot simply "change" everything to another language -- you must install the new language pack (in this case, English) from an English or International version of Windows.
The French Language spoken by the Norman conquerors.
You have to have files from original CD to change the interface language.
See related links for a good suggestion.
i have both windows internet explorer and firefox internet explorer but firefox language is not english.i want to change it to english.how can i do that?
You don't. The only way to change the base language in Windows (start button, menus etc) is to reinstall windows with a disk in the language you require.
