Eagle Premier was manufactured for model years 1988 through 1992. There was no Eagle Premier model year 1982. The Eagle Premier 1988 through 1992 heater cores tend to start leaking after about 8-9 years (based on three experiences). It takes two or so full days of meticulous work to replace these heater cores---requiring removing the entire dashboard, steering wheel/column, you name it. I have done this on Eagle Premiers with both floor-mounted and column-mounted shift levers, and every time I have to do one I say "NEVER AGAIN"! Unfortunately there are close to no short cuts available to you. It would be wise to replace the fresh air door behind the glovebox while you are at it, since its short plastic lever arm tends to break after 5-10 years, depending on amount of use, and access to it also is far easier once the dashboard has been removed.
