To change the AC belt on a 2000 Mitsubishi Mirage, first, ensure the engine is off and cool. Locate the AC belt tensioner and loosen it using a wrench to relieve tension on the belt. Remove the old belt, then install the new one by routing it according to the belt diagram, usually found under the hood. Finally, retighten the tensioner and check the belt alignment before starting the engine.
Release pressure on the tensioner. Remove the belt, paying attention as to how the belt is routed. Slide the new belt on using the same routing.
To install the AC belt on a 1994 Acura Integra, first, ensure the engine is off and cool. Loosen the tensioner bolt and adjust the tensioner to create slack in the belt. Remove the old belt and install the new one, following the correct routing as indicated on the engine's belt diagram. To change the AC belt on a 2003 Suzuki Swift 4x4, first, disconnect the negative battery terminal for safety. Then, locate the AC compressor and loosen the tensioner pulley using a wrench to relieve tension on the belt. Remove the old belt from the pulleys and install the new belt, ensuring it follows the correct routing diagram. Finally, re-tighten the tensioner and reconnect the battery.
To change the AC belt on a 2003 Infiniti G35, first, disconnect the negative battery terminal for safety. Then, locate the AC compressor and use a wrench to relieve tension on the serpentine belt tensioner, allowing you to remove the old belt. Install the new belt by routing it according to the belt diagram usually found on a sticker in the engine bay, and then release the tensioner to secure the belt in place. Finally, reconnect the battery and check the installation by running the engine briefly.
If the belt only drives the ac compressor, loosen the compressor mounting bolts to let pressure off of the belt. Remove the belt and put on the new one. Pull the compressor to the side and put enough pressure to tension the belt as you tighten the bolts.
