It would depend on what kind of jewelry you have in it....But first off, how long has it been in....If for less than 3 months, or more....I'd leave it in....But that's just me, I like doin' things the right way....Not saying you cant change it in less than 4 months...But if you do......DO YOU FEEL LUCKY???

But, To change a captive bead ring, [c.b.r.], you must spread the ring part from the inside....or you can try twisting the ring ends from side to side...

For a banana bell, or circular bar bell {c.b.b.} simply hold the bottom ball still while you twist the top ball anti-clockwise...{righty-tighty, lefty-loosy]

I would dip the end of the new jewelry into some sort of anti-biotic ointment befroe I put it back into the hole....Hope this helps!!!!!!!!

I changed mine yesterday :) i was really scared because i was my first time. i pulled the bar down a little bit then pushed it up again then gradually pulled it down all the way then i started panicking thinking i couldn't get the new one in. luckily my friend was there too she put the bar and the entry bit and i sort of clamped the skin around with my fingers and just pushed it didnt hurt at all :)

if you mean change a belly ring, you take out the ring that's already there and put a new one in

if you actually mean change a belly piercing, i don't think youd want to if it was already pierced but closed up and you wanted to do it again its gonna hurt like a mother

the best way to change your piercing is too get a real gold or silver one (not a cheap one) and wet the bar with some TCP and push it up through the bottom of the hole and it will go through easly and quickly screw the ball on the top then its done
