The brake switch is located right behind the brake pedal. To locate the swithc follow the pedal and yo will see it. when you press the pedal the pedal depressed the swithc. Very often it is not the switch but a piece of rubber or metal on the pedal which depresses the switch. IF the piece of rubber is gone (may be metal) the hole on the pedal is empty and it no longer makes contact with the swithc. In that case replace the metal or rubber. I just added a knot and bolt and it works just fine
