change front coil spring on 2000 Pontiac grand am
How do you change the ignition coil on a peugeot 406 coupe?
I've got a better question, why is this question in the Chevy venture forum ?
Use a strut spring compressor to compress the old spring, the remove the strut from the spring. Use the compressor to put the strut into the new spring. Install the strut and spring into the vehicle.
Take it to a garage
coil spring indpendent.
It is front suspension.
The Peugeot 306 has a conventional Mcpherson strut front end with coil springs over shocks. The rear end is a solid axle with torsion bars that run across the car linking both arms. There are no rear coil spings.
None. All Jeep Cherokee (XJ) are spring over in the rear & coil sprung in the front. All Grand Cherokees are coil sprung front & rear.
I'm not totally sure what your talking about, but I think you may mean the upper coil spring mount aka the coil bucket.
Strut mount, coil spring, coil spring isolator, rubber dust boot.
To change the front coil springs on a 1969 Chevy Nova, first, safely lift the vehicle and secure it on jack stands. Remove the front wheels and then disconnect the shocks and any components that may obstruct the spring removal, like the sway bar links. Use a spring compressor to safely compress the coil springs, then remove the lower control arm bolts to release the springs. After replacing the old springs with new ones, reverse the process to reassemble everything.
