HERE THE ONLY NOTE I HAVE, IT SEEMS TO BE FOR ALL Jeep CHEROKEES.
HOPE IT HELPS. Replacement of Jeep Cherokee HeadlightThere is a bulb that plugs into a socket dirctly behind the headlight. In order to access it you must lift the hood. Next, you will have to remove the plastic ring that holds the socket in the rear of the headlight housing. Twist the ring CCW (if you are facing the front of the vehicle)until it becomes loose and pull the socket and bulb through the hole. Then using a small flat tipped screwdriver lift out the little tab that holds the lightbulb on the socket and pull the bulb straight out from the socket. {Note: Pay Close Attention to the direction the plastic ring came out from, it is a pain to get back on if you don't. It will only go on one way...to hold the socket in place}
By removing the bolts.
