The headlight bulbs are filled with Halogen gas. They reach very high temperatures when operated. They should be cleaned with a clean towel or cloth with rubbing alcohol. If this isn't done it could blow up in the headlight housing which would ruin its reflectivity and you wil have to spend $124 for a new headlight housing. Don't touch the glass with your fingers. The oil on your skin will make the bulb overheat and explode. I found this out the hard way.
1. Reach behind the headlight assembly and turn the bulb holder counterclockwise to remove it.
2. Take the bulb out of the holder.
3. Put a new bolt in the holder assembly and turn it clockwise in the headlight housing to be fixed.
4. Note that one of the retainers on the bulb fits deeper in the socket than the other one. Be sure to place the tangs into the correct slots.
