There r two mounts. A top one & a bottom one. For the top mount:Place a floor jack under the "dog-bone" shaped mount on the bottom side of the passenger side of the car. Jack it up just a little to relieve the pressure or weight of the motor on the top mount. Remove the screws on the mount bracket. Then remove the screws on the mount itself. Take the mount out of the mountjng bracket, you might have to drill out the studs put in at the factory. The new mount should fit right in the bracket using the new bolts. Put bracket with new mount back on and tighten all bolts.
For the bottom mount: Just remove both front and rear bolts and replace with new "dogbone" shaped mount and replace bolts and tighten both bolts.
More than likely it is the bushing in your motor mount. Just have a mechanic change out your top motor mount...

yes
If its a 2.4 twin cam its right on the top of the motor in the front. If you buy the part first. After you see what it looks like you should be able to see the mount for it. It only has one bolt holding it on and is very easy to change. The part only costs about $26. Good luck!

To change the starter on a 1998 s10, the motor mount will have to be removed. Support the motor on a jack with a board on the top of it, and remove the mount to get to the starter.

Answerwater pump for a 98 sunfire is located with the timing belt can be a job. have to remove front of motor. enj. mount ect. More: Unless the 98 is much different from my 96, the water pump has nothing to do with the timing belt. Also, there is no need to remove an engine mount bolt. You should be able to loosen the belt tensioner enough to get the belt on and off the pump pulley.
