Let's say you have to put in 25.5% sugar in your recipe. Therefore, you would take the decimal and move it over two times to the left and your result would be .255 or 2 11/20. However, i do not know the measurement that you are using, such as tablespoons or teaspoons.

Move the decimal point two places to the right - for example, the decimal number .25 expressed as a percent equals 25.
