A single bolt that attaches to engine block will secure oil dipstick.
you might be able to pull the tube itself out and there ya go
about the only affect this will have , is that it will leak oil when engine is running
The tube runs down and goes into a hole on the block.
too much oil in chamber when oil change was performed.
where is the oil dip stick on a 51 plate c220cdi
you got a lot of oil in it or you need a new one
Take a funnel and pour it in the same tube that the transmission dip stick resides. Don't confuse it with the engine oil dip stick. They are typically identified with words on the dip or by colors (Tranny is the red one).
It is bolted to the engine block or oil pan.
Use an electric pump or hand pump to suck it out of the dip stick tube.
The tube must be bent or pinched.
Need to check the oil level on the dip stick. To see if it's full, are dirty. If you can't see the dip stick through the oil. THEN CHANGE OIL AND FILTER You will be checking the engine oil. I hope I helped somewhat.
