Or:
Raise the liftgate. You'll need a 7 mm socket or nut driver. The brake/blinker light is a #3157. There are two hex-head screws to remove. Pull the tail light straight back off the car. There are two little metal prongs that need to release from their rubber grommets for it to pop off. I needed to use two flat head screw drivers to help me get the light to pop off, but if you have strong fingers, maybe you won't need them. Replace the bulb by pushing in the mechanism on the socket, and turning about a 1/4 turn. Pull the socket out, and then remove the bulb by gently pulling it straight out. Don't twist. Put everything back in reverse order, and PRESTO! And you didn't even have to ask your husband to help you! ;)

around your steering wheel there should be either a wheel looking thing that you can slide up and down for adjustment.... or on one of your blinker switches there is a control.
