This can be done usually by inserting your static IP address, usually 192.168.1.1 and changing it at your routers internet page. Sometimes just activating UPnP (Universal Plug 'n Play). If this doesn't work. Look for MTU settings on the page. There are also a host of MTU changing freeware out there. I used a really good one when i changed my MTU, so if I find it I'll attach it to this answer.
The MTU (Maximum Transmission Unit) for the Netgear WNR2000 router is typically set to 1500 bytes by default, which is standard for Ethernet networks. However, it can be adjusted based on specific network requirements or to optimize performance for certain applications. Users can change the MTU settings through the router's web interface if necessary.
It stands for Maximum Transmission Unit. Not quite sure how to though. All i know is you go to your router's web-based configuration page.
You don't.

Oh, dude, it's like converting dollars per mtu to dollars per ton is a piece of cake. All you gotta do is divide the dollars per mtu by 10 to get the dollars per ton. It's like basic math, you know? So, if you're struggling with that, maybe stick to counting your change at the grocery store.
