Follow the hose from the radiator to the top of the engine block. Loosen the clamp on the hose and remove the hose. Remove the bolts, from the part the hose was connected to, from the hose connection from the engine block. Remove the part and you should now see the thermostat. This is easy to do. When getting the thermostat from your auto parts store, it's easiest to install using a thermostat with the self sealing gasket. Hope this helped. Note: Make sure you do this when the engine is cold to prevent injury from hot coolant.
