How do you change a thermostat on a 1997 through 2001 Honda cr-v?

Trace the lower radiator hose from the radiator to the engine. The thermostat is right there where the lower hose goes into engine. You'll know you're at the right place if you see two wires and a nut there. Remove the hose and the fitting into which it goes, and the thermostat is revealed. Remove and replace.
