I think you mean Walther- and no way to answer without more information from you. Which model? Some will require the services of a gunsmith, due to special tools, fixtures, jigs, and guages.
Yes it could be done, but you would have to locate a smooth bore barrel to change it with. Remember smooth bore barrels are not as accurate as a rifled bore barrel.
Transmutation
how do you change igition barrel on a vauxhall astra 1999 sri 2 litre
Nope. You would still have only one firing pin- but now it would not be in line with EITHER barrel.
You just unscrew it off the barrel
first cock the pump down then unscrew the magazine cap then the barrel should slide out
Yes , but you also have to change the intake manifold

Yes, it can be changed.
A four barrel carb usually adds about 20 hp.
I have a Walter & Sons double barrel shotgun. Markings on bottom of barrel under locking clip are JD2 / 10 over a C (10gadge) also E over LG in a triangel with a crown at top. This indicates Made in Liege Belgum.(parts anyway) I think the gun was put together by W.S. around 1900. The marking if yours are the same are between 1898 to 1914. But they(Walter & Sons) probably made other guns from other manufacturers. Hope this helps, look for other marks.
Yes , but you would have to change the intake manifold also
