blinker blubs on a 1997 f150 front blubs
- On the 4th Gen F bodies, Crawl under the car, where the turn signal is out- unscrew the 2 screws holding the bulb in and pull down the flap. Then remove the bulb and install in reverse order. Fogs can be changed from here as well. - You can also access the blinker bulbs through the headlights. Just flip headlights open but do not turn on. Once headlight is open you can unscrew and remove casing around the headlamp. You will be able to see both the blinker bulb and the fog bulb. This leaves you plenty of room to change bulbs.
Age. If it is the bulb in the instrument cluster change all the bulbs at the same time.
Just go to your local auto zone or car parts shop and tell them the make and model of the car and they can look it up and point you to the right one.
No it means you have your left blinker on. The right bulbs have nothing to do with the left blinker. An incandescent bulb either works or it doesn't. There is no dying out.
It has been my experience that when the blinker comes on but the lights don't blink there is one or more bulbs burned out. If that is not the case check the flasher.
check your bulbs
When blinker is blinking too fast it usually means one of your turn signal bulbs are burnt out. Check if bulbs are working. If not replace blown bulb.
Check/change the fuse associated with the blinkers.
