1. jack up front end, stand on jackstands.2. remove front wheels. Turn steering wheel for easy access to caliper bolts.3. loosen, unscrew 2 brake caliper bolts (3/8 Allen or Torx tool).4. remove caliper from spindle/knuckle. 5. compress piston of caliper, into caliper using one brake pad against the piston and a large "C" clamp.6. inspect caliper, replace if necessary. Clean mating surfaces with wire brush7. inspect rotor, replace or resurface as necessary.8. some people use silicone on the back of the new pads to lessen brake noise.9. install new pads. match new pads to old pads to ensure you have the correct side.10. install caliper, tighten caliper bolts to roughly 30-40ft lbs11. do the same for the other side.12. get in vehicle, push brake pedal to floor slowly, hold, release, repeat 4 times until brake pedal height builds up.13. check brake fluid level, add if necessary.14. reinstall wheels, remove jackstands & lowerr truck.15. drive & test.
