Should be the same as changing a 2009 Cabin filter.

It's behind and under the glove box on the passenger side.

1. Remove the cover that hides the air filter by unscrewing two wing bolts. They are under the passenger side dash. You'll have to be fairly flexible and agile to reach them.

Remove the cover, it's very flexible and malleable. Remember what orientation it was in when you remove you can 'mostly' put it back wrong...

2. Remove the center console passenger side lower panel. There is one torx head screw holding it in place at the forward end of the panel. Torx head, NOT Phillips!

3. You will see the air filter retainer, it's a rectangular plastic piece about 2 inches by 8 inches. Slide it to release the filter. Stuff (debris) WILL fall out so don't have your face right under it. You'll have to vacuum later, but the air will be clean!

4. The filter will drop down, pull it straight down and remove. Throw it away, but keep the plastic retainer, you need to hold the new filter in.

5. Put the new filter in. It will only go all the way in one way. DO NOT force it! Slide the retainer to lock it in place.

6. Put the side panel back on, then the flexi-bottom cover.

7. Enjoy the sweet smell of success and fresh air!

It's not as hard as I make it out, it's just I'm not so young or flexible and torx head screw threw me of at first.

Hope yours works as well, Good Luck !!
