On mine, I cram my hand down in there and lose a layer of skin. You can pull up on the reservoir behind the headlight housing to get it out of its mounting bracket, and move the hose that is attached to it, to get a bit more room.
IF its the headlight on the drivers side, you have to pull the power steering fluid reservoir to get to it. Just pull it straight up. It'll come off.
The headlight on a 1985 Honda Civic is changed by lifted the hood open. Locate the housings for each headlight and find the harnesses for the bulbs. Pull out the old bulbs and replace them.
