It is best to have a drain pan to capture the fuel to prevent it from spilling. You will need a wrench to remove the bolt holding the filter and pliers and/or a screwdriver to remove the hose clamps from the filter. Remove the bolt and then remove the hose clamps. Slowly pull the hoses off the filter. Dispose of the used filter properly. Then reverse the steps to put on the new filter.
