STP's part number is S3614. This oil filter fits a 2006 Toyota Solara (6 cyl) and other similar years of Toyota.
Does the 2006 Toyota sequoia have a fuel filter
See answers already posted to "How do you change oil on a 2004 Toyota Solara," "How do you change oil on a 2006 Toyota Solara," "How do you change oil on a 2007 Solara." They're the same as the '08. The short answer is, oil changes are the same on almost all vehicles. 1. Place a suitable container (5 quarts or more for the Solara) under the car. 2. Remove the drain plug and let the oil empty into it. 3. Replace the drain plug and move the container until it's under the filter 4. Spin the filter off (in the case of the Solara it's wise to place rags or paper towels under the filter to prevent a mess on the floor) 5. Replace filter 6. Add five quarts of oil 7. Start engine, check for leaks 8. Reset maintenance light. Cheers
What's the question?
Check page 327 of your owner's manual. It's 5 quarts for the six-cylinder, 4 quarts for the 4-cylinder. That includes filter change. Cheers
Look in the owners manual. Probably about 5 quarts with filter change. Put four in and check dip stick after running the engine.Ask a dealer or a parts house.
Genuine Toyota ATF T-IV, which is fully synthetic
6.5 quarts with filter change.
The maintenance schedule (which you should have gotten with the car) for the '06 Solara doesn't specify a replacement mileage or time. It only mandates an inspection every five thousand miles or six months whichever comes first. I suspect the reason is the change schedule will be different for virtually every driver depending on local conditions. If it's been lost, you can download the maintenance schedule from the Toyota Owner's website. Bottom line, check the filter each time you change oil. After a few looks you'll get a feel for how long it takes the filter to get dirty and ready for a change. Don't forget to check your cabin air filter at the same time. Cheers
5 qts (US) with a filter change - - 4.8 qts (US) w/o a filter change
6.4 quarts of engine oil with filter change.
It would help it you stated the particular model Toyota. In most Toyota's the filter is directly behind the glove box. You have to remove the bot to get to it or at least drop it all the way forward.
