In order to remove the ignition switch the lock cylinder has to come out first. Notice the small hole in the front face of the lock cylinder. Insert the ignition key and turn it to the accessory position. Insert a small stiff wire/pin/paperclip into the small hole and push it in. As you are doing that turn the key to the left beyond the accessory position. This will release the lock cylinder. Now pull the lock cylinder straight out. You can now unscrew the chrome bezel that holds the switch assembly into the dash. Pull the assembly out the back and drop it down so you can unplug the wire harness from the switch.
