I had the same problem on my 2005 Outlander. Oil pressure light turned on erratically when the motor was hot and I was on idle. Mitsubishi repaired it on guarantee, the oil pressure switch was defective, they changed it. JJ

Every 5,000 miles with conventional oil and every 8,000 miles with synthetic, assuming you drive under normal conditions. Change air filter every 30,000 miles.
It is advised to change any vehicles oil every three thousand miles. If oil is not changed regularly it can cause harm to the vehicle.
Sure you can, but I recommend you use exactly what is recommended in your owner's manual.
