Place a drain pan underneath the radiator and drain the radiator into the pan when the engine is cool. Disconnect the negative battery cable and remove the drive belt, timing belt and disconnect the lower radiator hose. Remove the bolts that hold the water pump and take it off. Install the new pump, replace the belts, and reconnect the lower radiator hose. Fill the radiator with antifreeze.

if its like the 96 its not 2 hard. breather cover. if im not mistaken theres 6 bolts & a few hoses. the bottom r/h mount bolt is a pain 2 get off for 1st timers tho. make sure u have something to catch the fluids.

Drain all the water off,air filter box off, engine mounting off, undo all the bolts on the pump,remove all inlet and outlet hoses.

Reassembly replace with new gaskets and hose clips and tighten pump bolts,replace engine mounting+ air filter box, refill water with antifreeze, done

To change water pump on a 1995 Blazer, disconnect theÊnegative battery terminal. Empty the coolant and unfasten the water pump. Replace with aÊnew one. Ê
