There are several websites which offer helpful hints and info to CR-V owners but, to my knowledge, none which offer shop manuals or which delve into procedures of this type. This particular procedure takes up 2 pages of small type instructions accompanied by several detailed photos, and the information comes from a copyrighted source (The Hayne's Manual) which cannot, by site rules, be reproduced here. Suggest you borrow a copy of this manual (or similar publication) from your local library or purchase one. They are an invaluable help fo the DIY'er.

Front struts Probably shocks in rear
Theres no such thing as a 95 crv, 97 was the first year. Gen1 crv 97-01,
shock absorbers , front and rear
that's kind of crazy cuz i need to change my struts on my 97 Monte Carlo z34. i can't help you, but i just thought i'd let you know that I'm sharing your pain.
I'm currently dealing with this same issue on my 97 CRV. Changed struts and noise improved but didn't go away completely. Mechanic thinks it could be the strut mounts (I didn't have those changed along with the struts). I'll let you know if this does the trick. If you change the struts though, make sure to change the mounts at the same time (it's only about an extra $40 for the parts).
Springs, not struts set the height.
My 1997 3.4L 4x4 tacoma has struts but some may have springs My 1997 3.4L 4x4 tacoma has struts but some may have springs
I found it. It is 65 to 95 Foot Pounds of Torque for the bottom bolts.
No, the struts from a 95 accord will only fit acura's 97-99, accord's 94-97, Odyssey 95-98, and Isuzu oasis 96-99. But the front stru for your car sells for $70-$150 each. Hope that helps you
Any struts from Escort years of 97-02.
