it's not difficult but a helper would come in handy. Find tension pulley nearest top of engine (will be smooth vs ribbed) if you have only 1 on that belt it should have a spring that allows movement. If more than one examine brackets to determine topmost one that is not fixed (looks like has a spring) ensure you have routing diagram or take photo before you remove. Find a socket that fits nut in center of pulley and use wrench with long handle. Orientation of belt will determine direction it (pulley) moves. If it moves right use wrench like you are tightening that nut and it will move against spring creating slack, meanwhile, your helper simply slips it off of uppermost accessory pulley or you can with the other hand but a little tricky. If pulley moves left you will have to use a breaker or long rod since the nut could loosen if you use it to pull in that direction. If the belt was squeeling and not just rotton you should replace tensioner at same time. The bearings do commonly go out
