With a spark plug socket?!? There is nothing special with the GP engine. Be carefull pulling of the wires so you do not damage them. Also, the GP doesn't need new spark plugs until after 90,000+ miles.

You do not need to remove the fuel rail to remove the spark plugs.
Dirty spark plugs can occur on any make, model, or year. Changing the spark plugs should be done for maintenance, such as when you do a tune up.
Unfortunately, this is not easy. You have to basically take everything off of the top of the engine, all the way down to the fuel rail, to be able to access the rear spark plugs.
Each spark plug has a coil on the top. Just remove the coil.
