there are 3 types of systems. the base one without the sub in the window with the tweeters in the front. the one with the tweeters minus sub. the one with the sub has a amp located behind the glove compartment. the reason i mentioned the amp is because the speakers in the doors are small and dont really produce much bass so if they are blown you might want to add a sub. replacing the speakers are not that difficult there are about 4 screws that have to be removed and yes you have to remove the door panel.
