How do you change the Gas filter in a Ford 2002 F350 Diesel?

Remove the powerstoke name plate on the front of your engine 13mm socket. This exposes the top of the fuel filter looking down on it. Reach behind the filter housing and locate the water drain valve open it up to drain the fuel from the filter housing. With a 1/2in drive extension and ratchet turn the filter counter clockwise. remove the old filter and replace with new. close the water drain valve, replace the power stroke trim plate turn the key to on a few seconds and fire the engine. It may rough idle for a minute or two but your electric fuel pump seems to pick it up fast. Good Luck
