Remove the bolts holding the passenger side cross brace. Then there is a bolt on the right side of battery, take it out. Take the battery up from the back (towards the rear of car) and pull. Its heavy and a tight fit. Of course you needed to disconect the battery cables first.
For more room you can unbolt and remove the radiator overflow container and unbolt the front fuse block and shift it backwards. Hope this helps. "G"

∙ 6y agoTo remove the old battery 1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal. 2. Disconnect the positive battery terminal. 3. Remove the crossbar support over the battery. 4. Loosen the washer bottle fill tube and move aside. 5. Loosen the fuse block and move out of the way. 5. Turn the battery sideways and remove. To Install new battery 1 Reverse the procedures bove.
