Set the car with the parking brake. Put the car in 1st gear (auto) or 2nd / 4th (manual) to make clearance. Disconnect the battery. Remove the pen holder by sticking a flat, wide screwdriver on both sides and gently prying it out. Remove the two torx bolts on the bottom of the climate control panel. Gently pull the climate panel forward off the clips. Remove the radio by the same method.
There are 5 bulbs on the climate panel and I think 4 on the radio. They twist on with a screwdriver and lock in place.

No you can't you must remove the dash.

bulb(s)
it depends on the vehicle, on my motorcycle i have to remove the side and front plasics then remove the dash unit, then open the dash unit and replace the bulb, then put everything back.
under the dash in the center console, it's big and red.
Pull the radio and take it apart. Find the bulbs and remove one of them and take to a Volvo dealer to have them match it up. They cannot look it up in VIDA or the parts catalogue, but might be able to match it up with what they have in stock. I also heard that Honda's use this bulb in the dash somewhere.
is it a warning light or the dash backlight you want to change ????
To change a turn signal bulb in the dash panel, first, disconnect the vehicle's battery to avoid any electrical issues. Remove the dash panel cover by unscrewing or unclipping it, depending on your vehicle model. Locate the bulb socket for the turn signal, twist it counterclockwise to remove it, and then replace the old bulb with a new one. Finally, reassemble the dash panel and reconnect the battery to test the new bulb.
