under the drivers side rear quarter panel you will see a cylindrical looking object either plastic or metal with 2 pipes onit, one in one out also a hose clip might be holding it up into place unscrew it with a flat head screw driver be sure to unclip the pipes properly, there are gaps at the very end of the tubes with little plastic clips in them get some long nose plyers of some sort and a screw driver press gently until you visible see that the clip has depressured it self from the fuel filter prise off gently with screw driver making sure you dont look because there will be pressure still in the pipes makind sure you take note of which way it came off, other wise if you put it on the wrong way with it being a one way valve as such the car will start for a while and then cut out and not start again so take note. put filter back on start car might cut out at first but keep starting it until it bursts into life. any bother let is na

Bad crank sensor could do that.
All simple auto filters (replaceable cartridge) will give out after a time, that's why they schedule them for replacement every year (or two for lite use) . Water is one of the fastest fuel filter blockers.

You can replace a clutch cable yourself in a Opel Corsa lite, but it's a tricky replacement and not advised for novices. Taking your car to a registered mechanic is the easiest and safest way. It's a quick fix, so it shouldn't cost much.

When was the last tune up. Plugs, and wires, fuel filter, air filter. All of these or either one will cause this. Start with the plugs, try it, if still the same, then the wires, if still the same, then fuel filter and so on to the air filter. Good luck. If all fails, and the check engine lite is on, or if it is on now, get a read out first. Might give you some ideas.
It all depends on what corsa it is, my opel corsa 1997 1.3i Lite's filter is situated inside the petrol tank, you can get to it by lifting up the back seat and opening tha black round cap. I have a corsa c sxi 2001. I will be changing the petrol filter at the weekend. It is situated under the car beside the petrol tank near the back. Make sure you depresurise the tank before taking the old one off or you will have petrol all over. Leave for 20mins with key out the egnition and relese petrol cap then put it back on and start work. Have rags and paper ready for spillage. Hope this helps I have a Corsa c 2001 and i am in the prossess of changing the petrol filter. Mine is at the side of the petrol tank just under the front side of your back off side wheel. You should get at it by lifting the back off side of your car and put it on an axel stand. It is just as the chap said before me
