its in the gas tank .first you must jack up the car and support it with jack stands or ramp it on car ramps then you locate the pump fuse and pull it from the fuse box and crank the engine over to release fuel back pressure, then u have to disconnect the rubber hoses..fuel fill tube and vapor tube. Then you have to untighten the tank straps and drop the tank down ,be sure not to rip any fuel lines or electrical wires.best bet is to use a floor jack with a block of plywood to drop the tank as it may be heavy because it has gas in it .when it is coming down and you see other wires or hoses disconnect them as you see them .when everything is disconnected fuel lines ,hoses and wiring pull the fuel tank out from underneath the car .use a straight screwdriver and pop the ring off the tank ..be sure to blow all the debris that may be ontop of it or wipe it clean with a rag.once you have the lock ring loose .pump assembly should lift out of tank .you may have to work it a bit making sure not to break anything pulling it out ,tilt it and pull the sending unit from the tank ..thats the float thingy on the bottom of the pump assembly.,when u have that out the pump is the black thing that has the electrical wires going to it .pullthe old clip off the wiring harness cut it or break it pull the pump off the pump assembly and assemble new onto assembly .be sure to follow the instructions that come with the new pump and reasemble in reverse procedure ..replace fuse and start car.
