How do I change the head lamps in a 2005 Mailbu
I have a 2001 Tiburon with the DOHC 2.0 and had the exact same problem. Turned out that the intake gasket was leaking. I found this out by spraying brake cleaner around where the intake bolts to the head on the backside of the engine. When you spray it more than likely it will burn white smoke out of the exhaust and possibly change the way it runs. I change the gasket myself but I'm also a mechanic so if your not comfortable attempting to replace the gasket I would take it to a shop.

Remove the old head gasket and put the new one in its place. Pretty simple
Changing head bolts is never a necessity, unless you have an issue with bolts breaking etc.
Always replace the timing chain, sprockets and tensioner rails whenever you remove the head.
Try replacing the bulb first.
Step 1: But the appropriate Service Manual. Step 2: Read it.
you can have the head lites adjusted correctly and/or replace the bulbs with brighter aftermarket hallogen ones.(sylvania has briter replacements available).
Under the intake manifold, in the right (passenger side) cylinder head. Yes, you have to remove the manifold to change it.
