lift hood, on top of headlight assembly there are 2 plastic slide pins on top pull up on the slide pins to remove assembly, when putting back on, push assembly all the way in, to put slide pins back on. make sure pins are all the way in, or else the headlight assembly will fall out.
Answeri have a 2000 Chevy Malibu.there are no tools required.its hard to describe ,but when you look at the assembly you will notice two plasiic tabs. pull these up
